Do ministers who go on foreign trips to shore up our international relevance and bring FDI... ask that funds be released to them? When it even comes to elections, do monies that were meant for prosecuting a war get promptly diverted to win the elections, while the dispensable soldiers get blown to eternity? Do the soldiers who then protest get courtmatialled?

RSSDA Staff Protest 17 Months Non Payment Of Salary By Wike

Hundreds of female staff and wives of the male staff of Rivers State Sustainable Development Authority, RSSDA, in Port Harcourt today,protested over nonpayment of salaries running to 17 months, by the Rivers State Government.

The women who were joined by female nongovernmental Organizations in the State converged at the Aztec Arcum Event Centre at the Stadium road Port Harcourt where they interfaced with the Rivers State Police Command before peacefully protesting to the Rivers State Government House.

Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy’, today said he would, on Nov.15, lead a 10,000-man anti- corruption protest within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. He made this known to newsmen in Abuja saying, “In the life of every human being, there comes a moment when we must take a stand on certain matters.” Charly Boy “Beginning from  Nov. 15, 2016, we, about 10,000 ordinary people with no political affiliations, will begin a series of mass protests and will occupy the nation’s capital.”

Ambrose Alli University Students Protest Hike In Fees, Storm Oba's Palace (Pics)

Students of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Registered their discomfort in the 400% hike in school fees by taking their protest to the oba palace in a bid to get the attention of the state government.
ITV Benin were on ground to cover the protest.
The Police were however commended for their presence as they guarded the students all the way to NJC.
