25-Year Old Lady Bathed With Acid By Ex-Lover Demands Justice

A 25-year-old caterer, Rosemary Nnaife, who was allegedly bathed with acid by her ex-lover in the Lawanson, Surulere area of Lagos State, has demanded the prosecution of the suspect, identified only as Paul.

The Delta State indigene, whose face had been scarred by the acid, said since the incident, Paul had yet to be prosecuted.

The victim explained that she had dated Paul for four years before the relationship ended due to abuse and violence.

FG files charges against Justice Adeniyi Ademola, wife

The Federal Government yesterday formally filed a 15 count criminal charge against Justice Adeniyi Francis Adetokunbo Ademola of the federal High Court and his wife, Mrs. Olabowale Toluwatope Ademola.
Justice Ademola is a grandson to the first Nigerian indigenous Chief Justice of the Federation Sir Adetokunbo Adegboyega Ademola.

The criminal charge was yesterday filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and signed by Hajara Yusuf, a principal State Counsel, on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Alhaji Abubakar Malami SAN.

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the nomination of Justice Ejembi Eko and Justice Amina Augie to be inaugurated into the members of the Bench at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

In the electronic votes conducted by the Senators on Tuesday, a total of 38 Senators voted in support of Justice Ejembi Eko while only 1 Senator voted against.

.A widower Mr Solomon Wilfred is claiming that his wife, Vivienne, who was six-week pregnant, died from “emotional stress” after she was released from Police custody.
 
According to the Nation,Wilfred, who got married to the late Vivienne last December, said she was taken to Akinpelu Police Station in Oshodi on March 15 by a policeman following an argument with another woman, Chinwendu Udomadu over a teenage girl, Perpetual Ucheweaku at the nearby Arena Market.
