15 Nigerian cultists arrested in Italy



About 15 Nigerians said to be members of the ‘Eiye’ confraternity have been arrested in a raid dubbed "Pesha", conducted by the Italian police on Tuesday, July 21.

The Italian police which said that the Nigerian cultists had roots in Nigeria and have series of international contacts in France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and other European countries, also disclosed that they were arrested following a tip-off by a disgruntled member of the group who was brutalised after violating some of cult codes.

“We don’t need money. We only need her virginity,” Cultists tell dad of abducted girl



The father of 20-year-old Patience Emmanuel, who was abducted by suspected cultists in Bauchi State, has revealed the heartbreaking details of the messages he got from her abductors.
Speaking with journalists on Saturday, Mr Emmanuel Kushi, said his daughter, a 100 level Pharmacology student at the Bauchi State University, Gadau, left the house on Wednesday, June 24, and was abducted on her way home after visiting his younger brother.

Mr Kushi, who is a farmer, disclosed he came back from farm to a message from his daughter’s abductors. “Father, your daughter is with us (BLACK AXE CONFRETANITY . We don’t need your money what we need is her virginity. Don’t bother looking for her,” the message reads.

The distraught father said he was still trying to comprehend the message in the text when the abductors used his daughter’s phone to send him another text claiming she was dead. ”At exactly 10.25am, they sent me another text message and said ‘she is dead’. We’ve been trying to call her but her number has been switched off. One thing I know is that my daughter is not dead. I believe she will return alive,” he said. .

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ahmed Wakil, said the police are currently investigating the incident.

Tragedy struck the Ogwashi-Uku community of Delta State on Tuesday as a final year female student of the Delta State Polytechnic, simply identified as Julia, was allegedly murdered by her cultist lover.


The deceased, who was in the department of Mathematics and Statistics, was murdered in her room in a private hostel off Polytechnic Road in Ogwashi-Uku.

According to one of her co-students in the hostel who spoke with SaharaReporters, the man, whose name has yet to be ascertained, had spent the previous night in the room of the deceased, and had stolen her ATM card.

The eye witness says he was coming back from school around 4:30pm yesterday evening and he saw people running away, heard gunshots,the killers escaped on a keke napep,they were three guys .

Suspected Cultist Kill UNIABUJA Student Just Behind His Parents House

 Suspected cultists have killed a student of the University of Abuja, Onyekachi Azubuko. He was killed behind his parents’ residence off Gado Nasko Way, Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory.
Northern City News gathered that Onyekachi, 25, was shot dead on Tuesday afternoon shortly after stepping out of the house to meet some friends.

His corpse was identified by his brother, Joel, before it was taken to the Kubwa General Hospital by the police.

It was learnt that residents of the area were thrown into panic when they heard sporadic gunshots by unknown gunmen, who were believed to be members of a cult group.

Footballer killed by three suspected cultists

 A 27-year-old footballer, Damilola popularly known as Bebo, has been shot dead by suspected cultists.

He was attacked by three men around 7pm at a carwash near Greenland junction at Abesan Estate in Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area  (LCDA) of Lagos.

He was going to get drugs after a football match when he was shot. The police were said to have deposited his body in a morgue.
