Freedom of worship is no longer a constitutional right but now determined by some people' - Bishop Oyedepo lashes out once again

Bishop David Oyedepo has again lashed out at the governments of Lagos and Ogun state over the continous closure of churches.
The founder of the Living Faith Church International aka Winners’ Chapel in his sermon on Sunday June 28, alleged that Lagos and Ogun have been inflicted with anti-church virus rather than the Coronavirus pandemic.
Oyedepo wondered why marketplaces where people no longer observe social distancing or hygiene will remain open while churches have not been allowed to reopen.
He said; “No handwashing, no nothing, everyone is in the market running over each other every day of the week and there is no outbreak from the market but there is now outbreak, perceived outbreak from the church. Prophets are God’s voices to the nations. Caution! “Now, freedom of worship is no longer a constitutional right but now determined to buy some individuals. It is a hard thing to kick against the priest. “This is no longer coronavirus in Lagos and Ogun. It is now anti-church virus clean and clear.” He also claimed that 10 members of his church testified to being healed from the disease in the last one week. Oyedepo insisted that there would have been more testimonies if churches have been allowed to reopen.
He added; “Can anybody silence the church? Never! I have never heard of anybody that God healed in the market but people get healed in every church day and night, real tangible healing. We have recorded 114 coronavirus healing testimonies. We got 10 this week. “And that is the place that is vulnerable, not the market.”

Lagos state government suspends the reopening of churches and mosques

Lagos state governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, has suspended the planned reopening of religious centers in the state.
Recall that on June 4, the state governor announced that religious centers will be allowed to open for worship provided they follow the COVID-19 guidelines. He said Mosques will be allowed to resume worship on June 19 while churches in the state will be allowed to conduct services from Sunday, June 21.
However at a press briefing this afternoon, Governor Sanwo-Olu said the reopening of worship centers has been suspended. He said the decision is based on the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state.
With 7319 confirmed cases, Lagos state has remained the epicenter of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria

Archbishop Duncan-Williams reacts to viral video of his son getting intimate with two naked women in a pool

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the General Overseer of Action Chapel International in Ghana, has reacted after x-rated videos of his youngest son Daniel Duncan-Williams went viral online.
On Tuesday, social media was set ablaze after Archbishop Nicholas' son was seen in a viral video getting intimate with two naked women in a pool. In another uncensored video, the young rapper who is based in the US took down his underwear and began to twerk for the camera. Reacting to the obscene videos, Bishop Ebenezer Obodai, a spokesperson for the family stated that Daniel has been battling with the acute bipolar disease for the past six years.
He said, “Daniel has undergone the very best medical interventions, treatments and hospitalisations, yet he still experiences relapses when he does not continue on his prescribed medication.” Read the full statement below:
Mental Health: Toll, Tragedies and Hope
The significance of psychological health has become very personal to Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and his family. Six years ago, Archbishop’s son, Daniel Duncan-Williams, was diagnosed with acute bipolar disease. Through the family, Daniel has undergone the very best medical interventions, treatments and hospitalizations, yet he still experiences relapses when he does not continue on his prescribed medication.
His outbursts on social media and elsewhere should not be media fodder or click-bait; We acknowledge that the obscenities are abhorrent but understand that he has a serious illness. Daniel is not of himself and he has never been in prison.
Historically, many mega pastors have all had to deal with their personal family challenges in the public eye and in this same vein, we also ask you to separate “who a person is from their mistakes”. We love Daniel, and we believe God’s mercy turns what was meant for evil to good, for them that love the lord and are called according to his purpose. Daniel also continues to be covered and supported spiritually with intense and consistent prayers.

Why Are Some People Calling Bishop David Oyedepo A Greedy Man?

When one of my elder brothers got admission into the University, my family had so much money that he could not pay for the school fees...
And he was about losing the admission, before God used the scholarship scheme of Living Faith Church, Winners Chapel to see him through...
For 5 years, that church paid his schools fees... And today, he is a graduate...

When he becomes a billionaire tomorrow, and decides to buy another private jet to add to the ones they already have in that church, will you blame the church?
