Ghanaian authorities have banned all flights from Nigeria and other West African countries over concerns of an Ebola spread.
The Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company, Charles Asare, said the measure was part of elaborate emergency response the authorities are implementing to contain the virus.
Flights from Nigeria were banned alongside those from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
While hundreds have died from Ebola in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia, the only confirmed case of the virus in Nigeria involved a Liberian man who died in Lagos on arrival from Monrovia last week.

Prince Williams opined that the dialogue would certainly be in the best interest of all Nigerians, as the exchange of ideas would be far more beneficial than the exchange of weapons of war. He also called on all Nigerians to view their participation at the National Conference as a national duty, which will benefit future generations of Nigerians.
