Lagos State Government bans mini skirt and tight trousers

Lagos State Government has banned all forms of dresses that expose br**sts, contours and other sensitive parts of the female body, saying “they are indecent.”

This was contained in a circular issued by the State Head of Service, Mrs. Josephine Williams to entire Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, dated February 7, 2014.

Vanguard gathered that the decision was taken as a result of worsening cases of indecent dressing among the state government female public servants.

The circular however urged all Directors of Finance and Administration, DFAs, to immediately move against indecent dressing .

CHRIS ATTOH QUITS TINSEL FOR PERSONAL REASONS

Chris Attoh has announced his exit from Mnet Africa series; Tinsel. Chris played the role of Kwame Mensah. In his words, "The last seven years on Tinsel have been an incredible journey and experience for me. Working with Mnet was phenomenal and it took a lot of deliberation but i have decided to pursue other career interests."

DG Nigeria Sports Commission Patrick Ekeji Retires

The Director General of the National Sports Commission, Patrick Ekeji, has retired from office, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.
Mr. Ekeji retired on Monday evening after 8 years as the administrative head of Nigeria's highest sports organ. His retirement is based on his attainment of the maximum age for civil servants.
Mr. Ekeji has temporarily handed over to the Mustapha Mohammed, the current director of finance and administration at the commission.
Sources at the commission said Mr. Ekeji's retirement followed a directive from the presidency.
The former sports boss was seen as the most influential person in Nigerian sports in the past few years.

BEYONCE BANNED FROM TELEVISION IN UGANDA, AND LADIES ARE FINED 10 MILLION FOR WEARING MINI-SKIRTS

Women in Uganda who go out wearing mini-skirts could face jail or a heavy fine under draconian new anti-pornography laws. 
The legislation would also see television dramas and films banned if it is passed by parliament.
